Youths endorse Senator for Nasarawa gov election

A political group in Nasarawa State, Youth Solidarity Forum, on Monday endorsed Senator representing Nasarawa north at the National Assembly, Solomon Ewuga as its candidate for governorship of the state.

 

Speaking at a press briefing in Lafia, the state capital, the Director, Solomon Ewuga Youths Solidarity Forum, Mr. Jilemsam Abel Samuila said the youths decided to endorse Ewuga because of his extraordinarily leadership qualities.

 

He said Ewuga had the necessary experience to govern the state and he has not been found guilty of corruption or immoral act in the course of his duty.

 

Samuila said in addition to his starling leadership qualities, Ewuga also possessed the capacity to govern the state at the critical time the state was passing through security challenge.

 

He said, “We shall make him the governor of Nasarawa State come 2015 to better the lot of our people, the course of human survival and the pursuit of happiness, as well as the restoration of peace in our dear state upon which all human endeavours depend.’’

 

He explained that Ewuga is the only credible candidate the Peoples Democratic Party needed to feature as its candidate if the party must win the 2015 governorship election in the state.

 

According to him, the youths were of the opinion that Ewuga had the capacity to address the basic needs of the people such as education, healthcare, general welfare and infrastructure development of the state.

 

While calling on the people of the state to vote for him, Samuila urged them to register with and obtain their voter cards to enable them cast their vote for their candidate during the election.
