The Ag. Managing Director of Rivers State Signage and Advertisement Agency (RISAA), has urged churches to stop posting Bill’s on walls, bridges and street Furnitures.
Speaking during a visit with the President of Pentecostal Fellowship Of Nigeria, Rivers State Branch in Port Harcourt, Apostle Zilly Aggrey on monday.
” why we are here to carry out this message to the door step of churches or other religious bodies, in the way and manner most churches carry out their campaigns and messages, not that we want to stop anyone from Advertising but ours is to ensure you carry out your adverts in accordance of the law”, he maintained.
“Our aim is to standardize the outdoor industry, sustain best social practices with consideration to environment in Rivers State “, he emphasised.
Chief (Hon.) Anthony Okeah frowned at the way Churches and Residents post Bill’s indiscriminately on poles, bridges, walls and Street Furnitures.
“let’s keep our city clean. stop the indiscriminate posting of Bills on our walls”, he added.
“In our efforts to ensure sanity. it is important to find lasting solutions to some of the issues that have bedeviled the outdoor advertising” he said.
