On their part, other stakeholders including Owanate Peters and Alaye Eferebo while noting the sacrifices of their leader, Sobomabo Jachrich popularly known as Egberi Papa to the development of the Kalabari kingdom and the State at large, appealed to Governor Wike to reciprocate the support of their leader to enable it trickle down to members of the group.
However, despite the heavy downpour in the area, members of the KUF including elderly men, women and youths defied the rain and matched through the streets of Buguma town in solidarity with their leader, Egberi Papa.
