The only thing that can pacify Nigerians now in their angers is for the Supreme Court to reverse itself in the case of Imo State, where there was a broad daylight miscarriage of justice by awarding unverified number of votes to Sen Hope Uzodinma of the APC who came fourth in the just concluded governorship election.
The aberration was too much to ignore and the Nigerian people are all calling for equity, fairness and justice because such unceremonious judgement has ridiculed the country home and abroad, and must not also be allowed to stand because it was a bad precedent set for the younger ones to follow.
It is so pathetic that Justice Mohammed Tanko, who could not pass English Language in WAEC was admitted into the Ahmadu Bello university to study Islamic Law based on quota system, and he has shamelessly brought the judiciary down to its knee with his compromised loyalty to the executive arm
His reckless and undemocratic approach in handling the Imo State election petition at the Supreme Court, using infamous “technicalities” has really confirmed that he is an enemy of the nation and it is incumbent on us to fight collectively in defence of our hard earned Democracy.
Nigeria is heading to the dungeon under this insensitive Federal Government of APC without any hope of getting out of it sooner or later. This is not the time to sit on the fence and say it is not my business because I am not a politician. It is everyone’s civic duty to stand up and face these monsters in Aso Rock planning to destroy this country for selfish reasons.
Travesty of justice is a criminal offence in the eye of the law. The only remedy is for the Supreme Court to reverse itself and return the mandate of Imolites to H. E. Emeka Ihedioha who was elected by the people.
Arise, O Nigeria! Together we can do it.
