Group seeks support for Rochas’ presidential ambition

The 2015 presidential campaign train of Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has canvassed support for his ambition in the forthcoming general election.

The Presidential campaign train which arrived Bauchi State Monday said they were in the state in continuation of their consultation for the Rochas’ presidency.

Mr. Chidi Yerima who led the delegation to Bauchi State on consultation with the slogan “Rochas We Know 2015” said they were in the All Progressive Change (APC) secretariat to intimate the state leadership of Rochas’ presidential ambition in 2015.

He said: “I can assure that if voted into power he has the capacity to turn around the misfortune of the country for good.”

He added that Rochas within the few years of his reign as Governor of Imo State has delivered the dividends of democracy to people of the state as he would replicate the same in the 36 states of the country if given the mandate.

He called on Nigerians irrespective of the tribal, religion and political affiliation to vote Rochas for presidency, saying a vote for him is a vote for transformation, free education, free health care service and sustainability of democracy and freedom.

Yerima said Rochas is the only governor in the country that is providing free education at primary, secondary, university, colleges and polytechnics in the state.

Responding, the state chairman of APC, Alhaji Uba Ahmed Nana, commended the delegation for the visit saying he personally visited Imo State and  saw the giant strides recorded by Governor Rochas in Imo.

The chairman commended Rochas for the providing education and urged all other governors, especially those of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to borrow a leaf from the APC governors, so as to visibly transform their respective states.
