Political Leaders in Ebonyi and Akwa Ibom states have endorsed President Goodluck Jonathan for a second term come 2015.
The political leaders in the two states declared that the President has performed beyond his predecessors, hence the need for him to continue with his superlative work.
The Ebonyi State Governor, Martin Elechi at the New York Get Together of the state political leaders in Abakiliki stated that the endorsement of President Jonathan was an appreciation of his investments and projects in the state. He said that political leaders jointly took the decision in the state.
In Akwa Ibom State, Senator Ita Ennang who announced the endorsement of President Goodluck Jonathan at a State Caucus meeting of the PDP stated that President Jonathan has diligently executed the Transformation Agenda of the administration to the benefit of all Nigerians.
Akwa Ibom, PDP State Chairman, Paul Ekpo and Speaker Samuel Ekong declared the support of other stakeholders for the endorsement of President Jonathan.
In his remarks, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio declared that this was the beginning of the move to secure a second term for a performing President.
It will be recalled that Enugu State Governor, Sullivan Chime last weekend announced the endorsement of President Jonathan for his state for a second term. The South-West PDP also last week endorsed the President for a second term.
