Total Collapse of National Security: 28 Persons Killed by Bandits in Zamfara State

 About twenty eight persons were feared dead when recalcitrant bandits stormed Babban Rafi village in Gummi local government area of Zamfara state.
According to  one of the villagers the bandits were numbering forty who came by  motorcycles.
The bandits entered the village, shooting sporadically which led to the dead of these members of the village.
He also says that twenty one persons has since been buried while the bandits prevent them from having access to the bodies of the remaining seven persons killed.
The Zamfara state police command confirmed the killing of fourteen persons following the attack.
The police says the attack occured on the 15th January,2020 where large number of bandits suspected to have come from the neighbouring Kebbi State in the night attacking the villagers which resulted to the death of these persons.
The police in a press statement further says a combined team of security operatives have been mobilize to restore normalcy in the area and trail the perpetrators of the dastardly act.
The commissioner of police,Usman Nagogo condoles with the families of the deceased, assuring that the command will arrest the perpetrators of the act to face the full wrath of the law.
