Four Supreme Court Justices Booed In Imo

Four justices of the Supreme Court and the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prof. Placid Njokuwere today booed by angry people of Umopara Nguru, Aboh Mbaise in Imo State.
The Supreme Court Justices were Clara Ogunbiyi (Rtd), Kumai Akas, C. C. Nweze and Paul Galinje.
They were booed when they were introduced during Dr. John Kennedy’s Thanksgiving at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Umopara Nguru, Aboh Mbaise, Imo State.
Dr John Kennedy Opara was the former Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission.
The reaction of the people towards the justices may not be unconnected with the recent judgement of the Supreme Court, which removed Hon. Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party and awarded victory to Senator Hope Uzodima of the All Progressives Congress, who came fourth in the governorship election.
