Forgery/Fraud Charges: Easter Vacation stalls Uwajeh ‎Arraignment

Plans by the federal government to  arraigned  Victor Uwajeh  before Justice John Tsoho of the federal high court Abuja over allegations bordering on fraud, impersonation and forgery was stalled yesterday due to Judges Easter Vacation.
The court however,yesterday fixed 18 April, 2018 for his arraignment.
At the last adjourned date, the trial judge had ordered that the police should produce embattled Victor Uwajeh to appear before the court today 29 March, 2018 (today) to take his plea or face warrant of arrest.
The federal government had filed charges against the embattled Uwajeh for allegedly trying to obtaining money through fraudulent means against a serving senator.
At the last  sitting, Chief Victor Uwajeh was absent in court.
The court had fixed todays date to enable the embattled Uwajeh take his plea.
Following police thorough investigations based on the petition written against the fraudulent activities of Uwajeh to the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Ibrahim Idris, the police investigations indicted him .
‎Indications from the court yesterday emerged that already the operatives of the Nigerian police force, IGP monitoring unit are on the trail of embattled Victor Uwajeh to arrest him and produce him in court on the 18 April, 2018 to enable him take his plea
