The Presidency has called on the National Assembly to quickly pass the 2014 budget for the Federal Government to execute key developmental projects for the good of the people.
Minister of Labour, Emeka Wogu made the plea in Abuja on Thursday.
The Minister said that there are key projects tied to the 2014 budget, which must not be stalled.
He stated specifically that 190,000 jobs have been created nationwide under the SURE-P programme, saying that it was necessary that the budget is passed for this laudable programme to be continued.
Wogu urged Senators and House of Representatives members to promote issues and programmes in the budget for quicker passage.
