Oduah: Senior Lagos lawyer meets ‘selected’ journalists at a secret location in Abuja

Following the lull in the attacks on the Aviation Minister, Princess Stella Oduah after her presentation to the House of Representatives Committee on Aviation, a renowned Lagos lawyer and businessman who had his concession on the Domestic Terminal of the Murtala Mohammed airport nullified met with selected senior editors in Abuja last week.
Scan News gathered that the dinner meeting was principally on the Aviation Minister and was not thrown open to all senior aviation journalists in Abuja.
Though the agenda of the meeting was kept secret, one of the journalists who attended the meeting held at a private residence on the TY Danjuma street at Asokoro in Abuja said that the meeting was convened to discuss the next media strategy on the meeting.

The reporter who pleaded anonymity stated that the meeting was coordinated by the Abuja Bureau Chief of an Ikeja based newspaper with its Abuja office at the Heritage House in Abuja.

It was gathered that the meeting resolved to recruit more columnists in mainstream and online media to pull down the defence of Stella Oduah. The form of attacks will expand as the businessman supplied several documents to the ‘selected’ journalists at the meeting.
The senior journalist who leaked the information stated that he was unhappy with the plot to continue the trial by media against the Aviation Minister. He claimed that the Lagos lawyer insisted that his business interests and investments were shattered by Princess Oduah and he is committed to ensuring that she is ‘brought to book’.
The said senior lawyer is also facing prosecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
