QUEENS EMERGE 2019 BENUE SCHOOLS FESTIVAL CHAMPIONS

Queen of the Rosary Secondary School, Gboko has emerged overall winners of the 2019 Benue State All Secondary Schools Festival of Arts and Culture which ended at the Aminu Isah Kontagora Arts Theatre  in Makurdi today.
Mount Saint Gabriels Secondary School, Makurdi came second, while Divine Love Catholic Girls Secondary School, Katsina-Ala took the third position.
The festival started last Wednesday.
Other prize winners emerged in various events including street carnival, poetry, fashion parade, culture quiz, traditional and modern dances, essay writing, beauty pageant, traditional cuisine, as well as arts and crafts.
The organizers also presented awards for best artiste, most outstanding student, best cook, most punctual school, best female actress, best narrator, most enthusiastic display in fashion, neatest school, as well as best modern dancer.
The event was organized by the Benue State Council for Arts and Culture under the supervision of the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism.
