The National President of the Committee of Deans of Students Affairs of Colleges of Education in Nigeria (CODSACOE) Hajia Zainab Abbas Mohammed has called on stakeholders in the educational sector to support government’s effort in improving the welfare of students and staff of the directorate of students’ affairs at the colleges of education in Nigeria.

The National President of the Committee of Deans of Students Affairs of Colleges of Education in Nigeria (CODSACOE) Hajia Zainab Abbas Mohammed has called on stakeholders in the educational sector to support government’s effort in improving the welfare of students and staff of the directorate of students’ affairs at the colleges of education in Nigeria. She said, that CODSACOE was set up to provide a single platform for all deans of students affairs to strategies ways towards achieving improved welfare standard for the students. She said they are the bridge between the students and the management thus places a great burden on them from both ends. She said alot of interventions are needed for the colleges to provide our society with adequate manpower to match the growing need for teachers towards improving the literacy level in our society. On his part, the Secretary General Mr. Lugard Okonobo, said CODSACOE is mobilizing private sectors, NGOs, CSOs, FBOs and dialoguing with other public institutions to support the students’affairs directorate. The 2nd National Conference will focus on Effective Corporate Social Responsibility for Improving Students Welfare, he said
