Doctors indefinite strike starts Jan. 6 *Pharmacists issue ultimatum

AS the five-day warning strike called by the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, ends today, Nigerians have been alerted to brace up for an indefinite doctors’ strike as from January 6, 2014, even as pharmacists, under the aegis of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, PSN, are threatening to team up with the Joint Health Sector Unions, JOHESU, to embark on strike on December 28, 2013.

Party Registration: DPC drags INEC to Court

A political association under the aegis of Democratic People’s Congress, DPC, has dragged the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, before a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja for refusing to register it as a political party after meeting the requirements stipulated in the 1999 constitution and the Electoral Act.
