has said the adoption of Modified Direct Primaries System,MDPS,

by the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the preferred way of

choosing its candidates in the upcoming 2015 elections, will ensure

the emergence of an acceptable party candidate in the

presidential election.

Pedro, in a statement, yesterday, said the MDPS would ensure that

the candidate with the most widespread grassroots support

emerged as APC’s flag-bearer.

membership registration drive with minimal hitches across the

“Naysayers predicted doom during our first National Convention, but

we came out successful and unscathed.

“We are on course. We have lost a few members along the way,

but we have also gained valuable and committed members too. We

must continue to forge towards emancipating Nigerians from the

claws of the ruling PDP – a party that has severely ruined our

common heritage.
