FCT High Court CJ For Swearing-In on Tuesday

The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mariam Aloma Mukhtar, will tomorrow  swear-in the new Chief Judge of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Justice Ibrahim Bukar.

He was made the substantive Chief Judge last week after acting for about three months.

President Goodluck Jonathan appointed Justice Bukar as the Chief Judge of court, following a reconmendation by the National Judicial Council under the Chairmanship of the CJN.

Justice Bukar succeeded Justice Mohammed Lawal Gummi, who retired voluntarily about three months ago to become the Emir of Gummi in Zamfara state.
