Gov Ahmed Presents Two New Buses To Kwara United FC

Gov. Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara, on Monday presented two buses to the state-owned football club, Kwara United.

Presenting the buses to the club, the governor said that the gesture was the first in the series of programmes lined up to strengthen the club.

According to him, the donation is made to ease the transportation problem that the club is faced with.

“You will recall sometime back, we gave a commitment that we would give a very strong support to Kwara United team that is doing exceptionally well.

“We are very happy with you and we said we will continue to encourage you to become the best in the country and the continent.

“As you continue to put in your best, we will continue to support you; to strengthen you each time you come on top,” he said.

He, however, challenged the club to put in more effort to ensure that the club gets a continental ticket at the end of the premiership season.

The presentation was witnessed by fans and Supporters of the club, the management team, players and officials
