Senator Magnus Ngei Abe has reacted to the comment made by the Director General of Nimasa, Dr. Dakuku Peterside, on rhythm 93.7 News, that Chibuike Amaechi is the leader of the APC in Rivers State, while he is the deputy leader.
Senator Abe said that Amaechi nor Dakuku Peterside don’t deserve to be called leader of the Apc in Rivers State, pointing out that by order of protocols, an elected Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is greater than an appointee of the Federal Government.
Abe said that he is not looking for the position of the leadership of the Apc in Rivers State, that what he is looking for is to become the governor of Rivers State. He vowed that no one can stop him from contesting and winning the 2019 gubernatorial elections.
Abe said it is laughable for matured men who could not win their various Unit and Wards, to come in the public to drag leadership of a party they failed to deliver.
He cautioned Amaechi and Dakuku to desist from making infantile political statements, which is aimed at insulting the Ogoniland people.
