A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue, Mr Joseph Boko, on Tuesday said the party would begin membership registration in the state.
Boko told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Makurdi that the registration would be conducted across the state to determine the numerical strength of the party.
He assured the public that members would be treated as equal stakeholders to guarantee equity and justice.
He said the party was bigger than any individual, stressing that it was important for members to use their influence to build the party rather than to pursue narrow interests.
Boko, who was the National Secretary of the defunct CNPP, advised members to bury their differences and work for the success of the party at the forthcoming elections.
