*says budget is an instrument of development, should therefore be removed from politics
The Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Mr Demeshi Luka has condemned his political party, the APC, for giving directive to National Assembly members not to consider the 2014 budget, saying that the budget is a developmental matter that is beyond politics.

Demeshi Luka is the deputy governor to Nasarawa State Governor, Tanko Al-Makura and both are APC members.
Similarly, the Senator, Representing FCT at the Senate, Senator Philip Aduda said that the APC leadership ought to realise that the budget is beyond politics as it concerns all Nigerians majority of who are not politicians.
He said that attempting to use the passage of the budget to attain political mileage is not in the best interest of national development.
