2019: Atiku has 95% support base in Bayelsa State. 

Collins Cocodia, the Commissioner for Labour, Empowerment and Productivity in Bayelsa state, cumming the state campaign coordinator for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, says the party’s candidate has 95% support of Bayelsa electorates going to February 16, 2019 presidential election.
At the inauguration of Non – Indigenes Association of Nigeria, an Atiku/Obi support group in the state over the weekend, he said that Bayelsa electorates have already resolved to stand by the PDP candidate, because APC led federal government has failed woefully.
His words, “APC led federal government came into governance with deception, they said economy was bad, how better have they repositioned our economy three years into the administration, is economy not worse than what they met in 2015?.
“Before Buhari came in, agricultural sector was doing well, the rate of unemployment was reduced, now what is the situation, Nigerians are suffering, that is why they need Atiku Abubakar to come in and return our economy back to the booming days”.
The coordinator further assured electorates in the state that nobody will rig 2019 presidential election, rather the wish of Nigerians will be reflected.
The state Commissioner for Youths Development, Udengs Eradiri, urged the youths of the state to stand by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in order to guarantee their future.
He explained that the PDP candidate has several packages aimed at repositioning the youths and reduced the rates of unemployment experiencing under Buhari led administration.
