We are particularly shocked that the President and Commander in Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria could stand “aloof” and do nothing while unrepentant undemocratic elements use instruments of State, available only at the behest of the C in C to ferment trouble in their bid to take over the Government of a State. The Integrity Group is in this circumstance, made to believe that the “silence” and or “inaction” of the Commander in Chief, is in deed consent.
It is time to liberate ourselves. It is time for Civil action. The greed of one person and the self-centeredness of a few can no longer be allowed to threaten our collective livelihood and security. Attempts by some politicians to create anarchy in order to breed a “state of emergency”, has failed.
We call on the Military (known soldiers) to go back to the barracks and free all captives in their custody, and for INEC to use the case of Rivers State to assert her independence and declare the winners of the suspended election without further interference by the Military and the F-SARS.
Long live rivers state,
Long live NIGER delta
