Victims Of Katsina Bandits Attack Buried Amid Tears

 Eighteen victims of the Katsina bandits attack have been buried amidst tears in the state.

The bodies of the victims were brought from the mortuary of the Katsina General Hospital to receive funeral prayer before the Katsina Emirate Council premises.
Leading the funeral prayer was the Chief Imam of the Katsina central mosque, Malam Mustapha Ahmad.
The burial was attended by hundreds of residents including village and district heads from within and outside the state.
Residents of Batsari Local Government are mourning over the loss of 26 peoplein an attack on three communities in Dan Musa and Faskari Local Government Areas of Katsina State.

Sources in the area told Channels Television that bandits riding motorcycles carried out the attacks on Tuesday.
According to them, 11 persons were reportedly killed in an attack on Sabon Layin Galadima community of Faskari LGA, while five persons were killed at Mara Zamfarawa village in Dan Musa LGA with many animals rustled.
