A 42-year old man suspected to be a fake university registrar and identified as Mr. Titillayo Tosin, has been nabbed in Yenagoa , Bayelsa, by the police.

Tosin, who hails from Ijebu in Ogun State was said to have specialized in deceiving desperate students seeking university education abroad.

He was paraded at the state police command along with other 13 suspects arrested for offences bordering on armed robbery, forgery, vandalism and car theft.

But Tosin was said to be fond of posing as an agent of foreign universities to hoodwink his victims and collect money from them.

He would later print and send fake provisional admission letters to the victims.

But luck ran out on the suspect when he allegedly tried to defraud one Miss Eniye Ebule.

He reportedly promised Ebule admission in a South African university identified as Monasha University.

Tosin, who claimed to be a graduate of Ibadan Polytechnic in Oyo State, said he demanded N600,000 as the cost of processing the admission.
