Police arraign 14 Year-old for stealing motor-bike

Master Uchenna Olori 14 has been arraigned before Magistrate Lenu Baridam, of Juvenile Court 2 in the Port Harcourt Magistrate District for allegedly stealing a motorcycle.

The matter was first arraigned in court on July 26, 2012, between the accused and the Rivers State Commissioner of Police in suit number PMC 1503c/2012.

The one count charge states that, on June 19, 2012, at Aggah town Egbema, the accused person stole one Qlink motorcycle with registration number QE 250 UMG valued N83, 000.00, from one Sunday Nwabueze.

The alleged crime commited by the accused is an offence punishable under Section 390 of the Criminal Code Cap 37 laws of the Federation of Nigeria 1999.
The accused pleaded not guilty.

He was granted bail for N200, 000.00, with two passports and affidavit of means from the surety.

The matter was adjourned to August 9, 2 012 for hearing.
