NIGERIA’S LONGEST SERVING PRINCIPAL PASSES ON

The longest serving missionary,teacher and principal in Nigeria Reverend father Angus Fraser has passed on at the age of eighty seven.
A statement by the Chancellor of the Catholic diocese of Makurdi Father Jude Ortese disclosed that the Catholic priest died after a brief illness at princess royal hospital, Farnborough, United kingdom where he was receiving treatment.
Fraser  was the founding principal of mount saint Gabriel’s college Makurdi in nineteen seventy one.
He also founded the via Christi society.
The late priest taught renowned politicians, technocrats, dons,musicians and captains of industry.
 In two thousand and three he received the national award of member Federal republic of Nigeria (MFR) and a life time achievement award by the former US President Bill Clinton as the best teacher in Nigeria in the same year.
He equally bagged the This day award of the longest serving principal of Nigeria in twenty thirteen.
