Fulani herdsmen invade a council secretariat in Ondo, one person reported matcheted.

Local government employees of Akure South Local Govt. Council in Ondo state were Tuesday morning chased out of their offices by some Fulani herdsmen over a disagreement.
The Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Gbenga Adeyanju, and the Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Pedro Ideba, promptly deployed their men to the council secretariat to prevent the situation from esalating further.
One of the council employee was allegedly macheted by the herdsmen, and members of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, are calling on the government to act fast on the matter.
Following the unforseen incident, the secretariat complex was completely deserted as the workers returned home even when the joint operation team was on ground to quell the situation.
