Former Minister decries social vices in Nigeria

Former Minister for State, Niger Delta Hon. Sam Ode has lamented over the high rate of infidelity, noting 
has accounted 
for moral decadent in the society.

Hon. Ode made this lamentation yesterday in Makurdi at a book launch entitled ‘Fruits of Infidelity’ written
 by Monica Iveren Nwakaudu wife of the Special Assistant to Minister for State, Education on Media, Mr. Simeon

 Nwakaudu.

Represented by Mr. Sani Ochojila, an erstwhile commissioner for Water Resources in Benue State, ode regretted 
that infidelity has caused broken homes as well as increase in sex related disease leading to death of many 
people, adding that many women have been used for rituals for indulging in this ungodly act.

He implored youths to be patient and married people to be faithful to their spouse, maintaining that it is 
through this way that we can have a disciplined society.

Hon. Ode equally encouraged Nigerian authors to write more books on infidelity as a way of proffering solution
 
to the menace.
