Chief of Staff to the Rivers State Governor, Engr Chukwuemeka Woke has praised Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for releasing funds for the construction of a communuty town hall in Egbeda, Emohua Local Government Area.
Performing the foundation laying for the project at the weekend, Engr Chukwuemeka Woke also lauded the Member Representing Emohua State Constituency, Mr Sam Ogeh for fulfilling his pledge to the Egbeda people.
Woke said that he is happy with the project because it will be completed in line with specifications and schedule as funds have been reserved for it.
He said: ” By the special grace of God when we came here to campaign for the local government chairman, Tom Alieze,the community made a request. They requested from us the building of this community town hall and by the grace of God, His Excellency has graciously approved and released fund for it . That is why we are here today to lay the foundation.
“On behalf of the people of Emouha community, I want to express our profound appreciation to the Governor of Rivers state for graciously approving this gigantic project in Egbeda as a constituency project of Hon Sam Oge”.
Member Representing Emohua State Constituency, Mr Sam Ogeh assured the people that he will continue to work for their welfare.
Chairman of the Egbeda Community Development Committee, Mr Ukoha Omereji said the community is elated for the commencement of the construction of the town hall.
He thanked the Rivers State Governor for approving the project for the community, saying that they will always support his administration.
