Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF) will be holding an emergency meeting tomorrow (Monday) in view of the impasse arising from the Federal Allocation Accounts Committee Meeting.
A statement signed by the governor of Plateau State and the NGF chairman, Da Jonah David Jang, yesterday urged the 36 state governors to attend the meeting by 6.pm as all the them are expected to meet President Goodluck Jonathan by 9pm on the same day on the matter.
The statement added that the governors are requested to attend the meetings promptly.
The venue of the meeting, according to the statement, is the NGF Secretariat, No 2, Nana Close, Off Nile Street, Maitama, Abuja.
The meeting will be the first of its kind after the controversial endorsement of Jang and this will test his acceptability and popularity among his colleagues.
