▪Sowore is expected to meet with IGP Panel on Rivers Rerun
Omoyele Sowore, publisher of Sahara Reporters, has been granted bail and released from police custody.
Scan News gathered that the bail was ordered by President Muhammadu Buhari, a beneficiary of Sowore’s blackmail business.
Though the allegation of threat to life, which was proven by the complainant is supposed to proceed to court for arraignment, President Buhari was said to have asked for the immediate release of Sowore who is to travel to Abuja to meet with Inspector General of Police on Rivers Rerun.
Sowore is on retainership with the Buhari administration to unleash negative propaganda on Rivers, Delta and Akwa Ibom. In liaison with the police, Sowore deploys his voice production machines to clone speeches.

He was arrested in Ikeja on Wednesday afternoon, and transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Panti.
Lekan Fatodu, a journalist, had facilitated Sowore’s arrest over alleged criminal defamation and blackmail.
A source that the publisher would return to the station by 2pm on Thursday.
