FG to call Second Witness against Saraki

The Federal Government is set to  call its second  witness  in the ongoing  criminal  trial  of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki before the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

The witness  is expected  to testify  on January 17, 2017, the next adjourned  date for the trial.

At the hearing of the case on Wednesday, Prosecution Counsel, Rotimi Jacobs concluded his re-examination  of the  first principal witness, Michael  Wetlas over the ownership of a property at number 15, Macdonald road, Ikoyi Lagos, which is said to  belong  to the Senate President.
Saraki’s lawyer, Pau Usoro said the witness testimony  has no effect on the  Senate President.
